BigQuery data in your financial model
The best forecast drivers — product usage, orders, bookings, active customers — often live in your data warehouse, not your accounting system. Timshal connects to Google BigQuery so those numbers can drive your financial model directly.
How it connects
You connect with a Google Cloud service account that has the BigQuery Job User and Data Viewer roles, and name the table or write the query you want. The credential is shared across your organization, so one setup serves every model.
What it is good for
- Revenue drivers such as active accounts, seats or usage volume
- Orders and units for product and inventory businesses
- Bookings and pipeline from your CRM, once it lands in the warehouse
Refreshing
Sync on demand, or on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. There is no fixed row limit; a source too large to load is refused with a message rather than half-imported.
And back again
You can also export a model to a new BigQuery table, so your forecast can sit next to your actuals in the warehouse.
